Peacock: England Under-17s head coach John Peacock has announced he will be leaving the Football Association after a career spanning a total of 21 years to return to Derby. The 59-year-old, who previously worked for the Rams as Academy director, rejoins the club as first-team coach to work alongside newly-appointed manager Paul Clement.
Paulinho: Tottenham Hotspur’s Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has signed for Guangzhou Evergrande on a four-year contract. The 26-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at White Hart Lane since signing from Brazilian club Corinthians in 2013 and will join Guangzhou for a fee reported to be around £9.8 million.
Bertolacci: Italy midfielder Andrea Bertolacci has joined Milan, the club have announced. The 24-year-old, who only recently moved back to Roma from Genoa after the capital club bought out his co-ownership agreement, has signed a four-year deal with Milan. Bertolacci played 34 times in Serie A for Genoa last season, scoring six goals.
Jones: Defender Phil Jones has signed a contract extension with Manchester United to keep him at Old Trafford until at least 2019, the Premier League club said yesterday. The 23-year-old England international joined United from Blackburn Rovers in 2011 for a reported fee of 16.5 million pounds ($26 million).
Muniain: Spanish forward Iker Muniain has signed a two-year contract extension with Athletic Club. The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on his new deal on which will see him now tied to the Basque outfit for another four seasons. A youth product of Athletic, Muniain broke into the first team in 2009 at the age of 16.
