Caremalta Ltd, part of the Vassallo Group, has inaugurated Casa San Paolo in Buġibba, its ninth home for the elderly.

Opened by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and blessed by Archbishop Charles Scicluna, the home features 191 beds.

Caremalta CEO Natalie Briffa Farrugia spoke about the company’s core values, saying that the home’s main feature were the single-bed rooms for independence and privacy.

Casa San Paolo features public areas for recreational activities, two dining rooms, a wellness centre, a multi- purpose hall, three lounges on three floors, a large pool and a chapel. It offers 24-hour assistance and a number of other services.
