Dicko: Wolves striker Nouha Dicko has signed a new three-year deal keeping him at Molineux until the summer of 2018. The Mali international, 23, has scored 28 goals in 59 games since a permanent move from Wigan in January 2014. Dicko said: “I feel good at Wolves and I’m really happy here so I’m delighted I’ll be staying. The crowd is fantastic – last season it was the best in the Championship so it’s been a joy to play for the fans.”

Britos: Napoli defender Miguel Angel Britos is being linked with a move to Turkey giants Besiktas this summer, reports in Italy said yesterday. The Uruguay centre-back, whose contract at Napoli expires this week, would be offered a three-year deal by Besiktas. Sky Sport Italia said Besiktas are ready to double Britos’s wages to lure him to their fold.

Payet: West Ham United have completed the signing of France international Dimitri Payet from Olympique Marseille for an “eight-figure fee”. The attacking midfielder, who has won 15 caps for France, has already successfully undergone his medical with the Hammers and agreed a five-year contract. Payet becomes West Ham’s third senior summer signing following the arrivals of Spanish midfielder Pedro Obiang and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Darren Randolph.

Hernandez: Abel Hernandez could be heading back to the Serie A as Chievo have opened negotiations with Hull City for the transfer of the Uruguay striker. Hernandez, 24, joined the Tigers from Palermo last year but failed to settle in England. Calciomercato.it reported Chievo have stepped up the talks with Hull and closing on an initial loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season for €8 million.

Ward: Aberdeen have signed Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward on a season-long loan deal. The 22-year-old Wales squad player trained with his new team-mates yesterday and will compete with last season’s number one, Scott Brown, and long-serving Jamie Langfield for the goalkeeper’s jersey. The former Wrexham player joined Liverpool in 2012 and signed a long-term contract last week after spending time on loan at League Two side Morecambe last season.
