In an interview for University Matters on Campus FM 103.7, Patricia Camilleri speaks to Vicki Ann Cremona about one of the University’s main contributions to Valletta 2018 to date.

This consists of a deep research study by academics from different disciplines tackling Maltese culture from different aspects, ranging from anthropology to public policy, the built environment, well-being, sociology, museums and libraries.

Taking as its starting point the statement by Valletta 2018 Foundation that “culture should be integral to the vision for the regeneration of an area”, the study aims to trace the current situation of culture in Valletta in particular and Malta in general, also in relation to the European context.

The results of the research will be published in the form of a book early next year.
