President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca last week opened the Mcast Expo 2015 and launched its new prospectus for full-time courses starting in October.
The prospectus contains detailed information on 163 full-time Mcast courses beginning in October, ranging from introductory certificate courses to higher national diploma and degree programmes.
The college is introducing several new courses, including a certificate in pre-nursing, a diploma in performing arts, advanced diplomas in IT (end-user support), and in IT (multimedia software development), and degrees in game art and visual design, photography, product design, spatial design, chemical technology, health science (physiological measurements) and multimedia software development.
A new course entitled Mcast Traineeship Award in Vocational Studies (hospitality studies/office skills/production and retail) will be offered to students who have successfully completed the Mcast Certificate in Vocational Skills under the Pathway to Independent Living Programme.
The prospectus and application form is available from the Mcast main campus in Paola, from its institutes in Mosta, Naxxar, Qormi and Kalkara, its campus in Għajnsielem and from local council offices.
