Caicara: Junior Caicara will join Schalke from Ludogorets after the German club agreed to pay more than six million euros for the Brazilian defender. The club confirmed that it was a record fee for a player from the Bulgarian championship. Schalke, who finished sixth in the Bundesliga, will play in the Europa League next season.

Getafe: Getafe have appointed Fran Escriba as their new coach on a three-year deal. The 50-year-old Spaniard, who resigned from Elche this week after three years in charge, becomes Getafe’s fourth manager since last summer, following on from Cosmin Contra, Quique Sanchez Flores and caretaker Pablo Franco.

Molinaro: Veteran defender Cristian Molinaro has pledged his future to Torino after extending his contract by another year. The 31-year-old’s current deal was due to expire at the end of this month. The left-back joined Torino in July 2014, having previously played for Siena, Juventus, Stuttgart and Parma.

Herrera: Las Palmas have rewarded coach Paco Herrera with a new contract following the club’s promotion to the Primera Liga. The 61-year-old joined Las Palmas last summer and guided the team from the Canary Islands back into the top flight after an absence of 13 years. Herrera’s previous deal was set to expire this summer. Herrera, a former assistant to Rafael Benitez at Liverpool, has experience in the Primera Liga having coached Villarreal and Celta Vigo earlier in his career.

Bacca: Sevilla say they have not received any formal offers for Carlos Bacca. Bacca, who has scored 34 goals in 71 appearances since joining Sevilla two years ago, is a reported target of Manchester United, Roma and Milan. However, no club has yet to make an official bid for the 28-year-old. “We have not received an official offer for Bacca,” Sevilla sporting director Monchi said. “We are not in negotiations for any important player.”

Santon: Inter wing-back Davide Santon will not leave the Serie A club this summer to join Watford. Reports had linked Santon with a move to the newly-promoted Premier League club but Santon is reported by FcInterNews.it to have reiterated his position to his club, saying that he does not intend to go to Watford.
