De BONO. On June 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, née Borg, aged 88, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mary, much loved by her two daughters, Stephanie, wife of Michael Conway, and Carmen. She will be missed by her brother Gontran and his wife Mary, her treasured life-long friends, Lydia Aquilina, May Ellul Soler, Edith Valentino and Maud Vassallo. She will forever be fondly remembered by Anna Ruggier and Roberto Rueda Plasencia whose lives she touched in a very special way, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.15pm for St Mary parish church (knisja l-qadima), Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
