Man. City friendly: Manchester City have added an additional friendly against sister club Melbourne City to the programme for their pre-season tour of Australia. City have announced they will play the A-League side as part of their preparations for the 2015-16 Premier League season at Gold Coast’s CBus Super Stadium on July 18.

Tyton: Stuttgart have signed Poland goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton from Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven to replace Sven Ulreich who left at the end of the season to join Bayern Munich. They have also brought in 24-year-old Lukas Rupp from Paderborn on a three-year-contract to boost their midfield.

Bond: Assistant manager Kevin Bond will leave QPR when his contract expires at the end of this month. The Championship club yesterday announced the imminent departure of Bond, who joined Rangers as part of former manager Harry Redknapp’s coaching staff in November 2012. Chris Ramsey succeeded Redknapp in February and was appointed on a permanent basis despite QPR’s relegation from the Barclays Premier League.

Berahino: West Brom striker Saido Berahino is expected to be fit for the start of the new Premier League season after scans revealed no major damage to his knee. Berahino was forced to withdraw from England’s Under-21 Championship finals squad last week after suffering an injury in training. Tests carried out on his right knee since have revealed a tear to one of the ligaments but nothing more serious and the 21-year-old faces weeks, rather than months, of rehabilitation without the need for surgery.

Darmstadt: Bundesliga newcomers Darmstadt have signed midfielder Mario Vrancic from Paderborn on a two-year deal. Vrancic, 26, made 30 Bundesliga appearances for Paderborn last season but could not prevent them from being relegated.
