Mosta are the winners of the 2014/15 APS Bank Under-17 Section A league. The Blues went down to Valletta in their final game but they had already sealed the title in their previous match.

This was Mosta’s first success in the category.

The championship was balanced and keenly-contested with Mosta finishing just one point above Sliema Wanderers and Valletta in the final standings.

At the end of their match against Valletta, Peter Gatt, corporate strategy manager at APS Bank, presented the trophy to the Mosta captain.

Meanwhile, the Youth FA Under-15 season came to a close recently when St Andrew’s beat Ħamrun Spartans 3-0 in the KO competition final.

After a goalless first half, the Saints struck three times in quick succession to clinch the honour for the second time.

Before kick-off, a minute’s silence was observed in memory of former Youth FA council member Mario DeBattista who passed away last month.

Youth FA vice-president Robert Attard presented the trophy to the St Andrew’s players.
