ATTARD. On June 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOAN (Gina), née Fralliciardi, aged 84, widow of Charles, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Enza and her husband Alec Lapira and Mariella and her husband Alain Mangion, her most beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Carla, Daniel and Leanne, and Julia, her devoted carer Marieta, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, June 25 for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Mater Dei Hospital, for their dedication and care. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
BORG ALOISI. On June 21, NARCISA, aged 95, widow of Anthony, residing at Casa Leone St Julian’s, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei hospital, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Roberto and his wife Grace, Antoinetta and her husband Gianni Longato, Aldo and his wife Anna, Alex and his wife Antonella, and her grandchildren, great grand children, other relatives and friends in Malta, Italy and Australia. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45pm for Gżira Parish Church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by internment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Donations to the Jesuit Refugee Service Malta will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
