More than 750 lawyers visited Malta to participate in the sixth Eurolawyers tournament, organised by Corporate Sport Organisation in collaboration with logistics provider Meeting Point Events.

Italian team Bari were the winners of the Classic Tournament; Budapest won the Masters Tournament; while Delegacap De Barcelos Da Ordem Dos Advogados won the first edition of the five-a-side tournament.

This was also the best showing for Maltese lawyers’ team La Vallette, who placed fourth, having managed to make it all the way to the semi-finals in the Classic Tournament, losing to eventual winners Bari.

Chief organiser Vincent Pinatel, a lawyer based in Marseille, together with CSO’s chief executive officer Pierre Lusinchi, hosted a dinner at Scappi’s Trattoria in St Julian’s to thank the sponsors and main service providers.

The event is the sister tournament of Mundiavocat, held every two years since 1983.
