A 37-year-old man from Sta Venera was critically injured last night following a traffic accident in Armier Road, near l-Aħrax tal-Mellieħa.

The incident happened at about 10.30pm when the motorcycle which the man was riding crashed into a wall.  The man was catapulted over the wall and into a field.

The police said his condition is life-threatening.
