England U-21 striker Harry Kane heads the ball during last night’s Group B match against Portugal in Hradiste. Joao Mario netted the all-important goal that earned Portugal a 1-0 win in their European Championship opener. Earlier, Isaac Kiese Thelin converted a late penalty as Sweden came from behind to beat Italy 2-1. Domenico Berardi put the Italians ahead from the penalty spot on 29 minutes. But the Swedes turned the match in their favour after the interval following goals from John Guidetti and Thelin.
