St Agatha tower in Marfa, better known as the Red Tower, has been awarded Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence.

The tower was built on the orders of Grand Master Lascaris between 1647 and 1648 to protect the straits between Malta, Comino and Gozo from enemy incursions.

It is now managed as an attraction by Din l-Art Helwa, which restored it some years ago.
