2pm The President meets Anthony Debono, former Ambassador for Malta in Jordan and committee member of the Tumas Fenech Foundation, at San Anton Palace.

11am The President presides over the launch of two children’s books entitled Il-Mela Darba Tiegħi – ġrajjiet veri tana t-tfal and Caterpillar in a Jar, published by St Jeanne Antide Foundation with grants from The President’s Award for Creativity 2014, at San Anton Palace.

1.30pm The President meets the managers of local boat marinas at San Anton Palace.

2.30pm The President holds a meeting with NGOs organised by the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, to mark World Refugee Day, at San Anton Palace.

6.30pm The President delivers an opening speech of a public lecture on ‘Stigma and mental health, organised by Richmond Foundation Malta with the participation of Alistair Campbell, at the Palace.

7.30pm The President delivers a speech during a reception hosted by British High Commissioner Rob Luke, on the occasion of the national day of Great Britain, at San Pawl tat-Tarġa.

Sunday

9am The President and Mr Preca preside over a Mass marking Father’s Day at San Anton Palace. The public is invited to attend.

1.05pm The President and Mr Preca leave Malta for Strasbourg, France, where the President will address the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Malta’s accession to the council.
