Tania Theuma Tabone’s 20 tapping tots triumph on Tehran tour

The 20 tapping tots from the Tania Theuma Tabone School of Dance scored a major triumph with a spectacular final show on their recent tour of terpsichoreal academies in Teheran, Iran.

The glittering evening was brought to a close when the ladies were presented with goody bags, sponsored by Crufts Canine Treats Ltd, San Ġwann

Their performance was greeted by prolonged respectful silence as the 20 tapping tots went through their complete repertoire. On their triumphant return to Malta, a triumphant Ms Theuma Tabone stated: “It was a triumph and I am so proud of them. They really er... triumphed, despite having to dance in floor length burkhas with their heads covered. Just a couple of tots actually were unable to see where they were going and collided with one another and the furniture... and only a few more tripped over their burkhas and even fewer sustained actual fractures.”

Ms Theuma Tabone confirmed that when the tots leave hospital their next triumphant tour is scheduled for Damascus.

Successful launch of new car

The all-new Yamahito Filibuster drop-head coupé, the first vehicle to be driven only by hot air, was launched, appropriately enough, at the new Parliament building in Valletta last Friday evening. The importer, Messrs Autodump Motors Ltd of San Ġwann, unveiled the sleek mud-coloured Filibuster to an admiring audience of motoring journalists, members of the motor trade, MPs from both sides of the house and the usual melange of itinerant free-loading sales staff.

Presenting the unique vehicle to the assembled crowd, the managing director of Autodump Motors Ltd of San Ġwann, Mr Manny Mifsud Bianco said: “We at Autodump Motors Ltd of San Ġwann feel it extremely apt to launch the jewel in the crown of Autodump Motors Ltd of San Ġwann here in the home of hot air.” And a good time was had by all... especially by the usual suspects.
