The popular Summer Kitchen in the gardens of the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa in Attard has reopened.

Led by the hotel’s executive chef Stefan Hogan, The Summer Kitchen brigade has crafted a menu for all the family.

“The Summer Kitchen has become an intrinsic part of our dining portfolio at the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa, and we have spent the winter perfecting many of our core dishes, as well as incorporating exciting new elements and ingredients,” said Hogan.

Highlights from the menu include the appetizer mezes of buttermilk-coated chicken wings with a blue cheese dip and celery sticks, or the fritto misto with lemon mayo and parsley.

These can be follow­ed by tagliatelle al ragù, mush­rooms, pancetta affumicata and cream, or the stone-oven baked Campagnia pizza with roasted pumpkin purée, provola, ricotta salata and sage.

There are also various salads, including the artichoke, pea, quinoa and summer herb salad with a lime dressing, while meat lovers can enjoy striploin or rib-eye, cooked and seasoned on an open barbecue.

Wine has been placed centre-stage thanks to the hotel’s new partnership with P. Cutajar & Co. Ltd and Charles Grech & Co. Ltd, who will provide a wide selection of wines from different regions and countries around the world.

“Together with the hotel, we have assembled a list featuring over 100 different premium wines, which is split into different, smaller lists at our various restaurants,” said Matthew Cuomo, the manager of the Wines Division at P.Cutajar & Co. Ltd. “There is now definitely a wine for everyone at the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa.”

The hotel is also launching Lounge Wednesdays in the garden from July 1, with live entertainment from some of Malta’s top performers, delicious platters and a range of fresh and fruity cocktails.
