As part of events marking the Faculty of Science’s 100th anniversary, a public lecture on the subject of ‘Symmetry’ will be given by Marcus du Sautoy on Wednesday at 6pm in the Aula Magna of the University’s Valletta campus in St Paul Street, Valletta.

Du Sautoy is Simonyi professor for the public understanding of science, a fellow of New College, Oxford, and president of the Mathema­tical Association, which promotes mathematics across education and public discourse in the UK.

The public is invited to attend. Entrance is free.
