St Benedict College held a Celebration Day to mark its students’ academic achievements and showcase their talents. This year, 70 students and teachers worked together to produce a musical based on Victor Hugo’s novel Les Misérables.

In a separate event, the college organised the fifth edition of Festa Komunità, which this year was held in aid of the Hospice Movement. The full-day social event included performances by the Armed Forces of Malta band and 10 other band clubs from various localities that the college students come from.

Other activities included the sale of books, plants, food and drinks, face painting, a bouncing castle, road train rides around the locality and various exhibitions.

The event raised €3,500 for the Hospice Movement.
