• People with reduced mobility must have equal opportunities when opting to travel by air as other citizens.
• They cannot be refused a reservation because they need special assistance.
• Disabled travellers have the right to carry two pieces of mobility equipment free of charge.
• An air carrier may refuse a reservation or to embark an individual with reduced mobility only when there are justified safety reasons established by law or if the size of the aircraft makes it physically impossible to embark that person.
