Richard England and Lino Bianco were both awarded prizes by the International Academy of Architecture on the occasion of the XIV Interarch Triennial held last month in Sofia, Bulgaria.

England’s recently completed Dar Il-Ħanin Samaritan Complex and his interfaith Gozo project were awarded the Grand Prix, while Bianco’s project A Home of Time and Memory at Nadur, Gozo, won a special prize for the sensitive way the new development proposal integrates into the existing context.

Both academics were also guest speakers at the conference.
