An exhibition by Majka, Sense, is currently showing at The Splendid in Valletta.

Sense is intended to offer an experience of inner space. By means of texture and different techniques, the artist shows the viewer that some things are not possible to understand, will never be understood and that, at the end, it still makes sense.

“I worked on this collection while I was on one of my longest and toughest surgery recovery, which provided me with an experience of inner space and the truth of the no sense making sense.

“During this phase I realised that life is an ongoing process, made up of too many different instances, feelings and encounters which might make no sense to me but make sense to others and vice versa. I tried to indicate this through my work,” the artist says.

Sense runs until Wednesday at The Splendid in Valletta.
