ATTARD. On June 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, SAVIOUR (il-Bubej) of Mellieħa, aged 65, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Natalina, his children Oliver and his wife Daniella, Robert and his partner Michelle, and Alison and her husband Johann, his grandchildren Nicole, Rico, Aidan, Julia and Dwain, his brothers and sisters, his in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends, amongst whom the president, committee and members of La Vittoria Band Club, Mellieħa. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, June 10 at 1.30pm for St Anne Street, Mellieħa, from where at 2.15pm the La Vittoria Band will be accompanying the cortège to Maria Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the La Vittoria Band Club grave at the Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery Mellieħa. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
DE BATTISTA. On June 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIO, of Iklin, aged 60, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Pauline, his children Daniela and her husband Matthew, and his grandson Sam, Roberta and her husband Roderick, Stefan and his fiancèe Stefania, Randolph and his partner Cyrus, his sisters and brothers, his in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2pm for St Cajetan parish church Ħamrun, whree Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Qalb it-Tfal Foundation will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
