Infinitely Xara’s de Mondion restaurant was honoured with the Best in Class and Best Hospitality awards by the Malta Tourism Authority during a presentation last week.

The awards are part of a quality assured scheme launched in October 2014, which covers destination management companies, visitor attractions and restaurants, an objective and audited way to recognise entities in the tourism industry committed to high levels of quality.

The restaurant embodies Relais & Chateaux’s commitment to create a better world through hospitality and cuisine and to reliably serve a representation of world class dining and sterling service.

The menu, created by Kevin Bonello and his team, combines international flavours with local ingredients, as well as flavours and textures.

“Whatever we do is given attention” said Infinitely Xara’s general manager David Spiteri.

“The results are a statement of focus and balance. Our team delivers a top culinary adventure and I feel extremely proud that de Mondion and Trattoria AD 1530 have been rewarded this QA seal.”

Infinitely Xara’s managing director Justin Zammit Tabona said Malta had so much to offer. The QA awards reminded everyone of the quality, authenticity and vision of the Maltese and one couldn’t help but feel proud to be part of this achievement.
