I lived in Malta in the early 1960s and returned to live here permanently in 2004. I would love to trace some of my old friends from the 1960s.

Doris lived in a farmhouse in Parisio Street, Gżira/Sliema; her brother did taxidermy and the house was full of stuffed birds. Annette Agate lived in a villa on the Gżira/Sliema seafront (where The Waterfront now stands) with her mother.

Chico and Charlie were brothers who kept their boat in their garage in Parisio Street (where The Waterfront car park now is) and they used to do bodybuilding. The brothers would be about 70 or 80 now. They used to take me out a lot in their luzzu, of which I have fond memories.

Mario lived in Sliema (I believe Windsor Terrace) and had twin sisters called Maria and Anna; we used to see each other almost every day at Balluta Bay. I do not know Mario’s surname and he would be around 60 now.

If anyone recognises these people I would love to get in touch with them again as well as any ex-RAF personnel who were stationed here in the early 1960s and attended Luqa school.

I may be contacted on Karen@ 4amtraining.com or on telephone numbers 2743 4164, 7903 1516 or 7728 1117.
