The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Centre has embarked on an agritourism project to train students in the skills and know­ledge needed to be successful in agritourism industry.

As part of this project, 10 students from various Mcast institutes and two from the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) will visit various agritourism centres in Sicily.

The visits will focus on different aspects of the agritourism industry including water management, construction techniques, agriculture and animal breeding and petting.

The project is supported by the Malta Developers Association, the ITS, Finnestral Ltd and Camray Ltd.
