FARRUGIA. On June 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMMANUEL of Qrendi, residing at Luqa, aged 80, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Tessie, née Ciappara, his children Phyllis and her husband Kingsley Abanifi and their children Daniel and Amber-Rose, Arnold and his wife Rose and their children Mireille, her boyfriend Lyndon and James, and his son Mario and Mary. He is also mourned by Elfrida, widow of his brother Joseph, his brother John, his sister Carmen and her husband Publius, his brother Bennie and his wife Carmen, his brother Oscar and his wife Maude and their families. His brothers-in-law Frankie, Joseph, Andrew and his wife Marlene and their families and his great family friend Paul Sacco, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, June 8 for Luqa parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Luqa cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, or the Poor Clares, St Julians, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PACE. On May 24, HUBERT, former proprietor L’Escargot Bistro, Mellieħa, aged 69, passed peacefully away at home, surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Melissa, née Donald, his children Tessa, Emily, Becky and Oliver, his adored granddaughter Arabella, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on June 15 at 10am at Marija Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

Diversion at Kordin
Part of the Kordin Industrial Estate, close to the Hockey Club, will be closed to vehicular traffic from Monday to Friday between 3pm and 3am, due to filming of The Tempest, Transport Malta said.
Vehicular traffic to and from the estate towards Dock 7 will be diverted onto Bishop Buhagiar Street.
Access to Kordin Industrial Estate will be available at all times.
