DEGABRIELE. On June 3, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, Chev. ANTHONY M. DEGABRIELE of Attard, aged 61, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary Rose, his sons Oliver and his partner Alison, and Gregory and his wife Angelique, his mother Carmen, his brother Joseph and his wife Carmen, his in-laws, nephews, their families, relatives and friends. SALIBA. On June 2, at St Vincent de Paul residence, PAULINE of Tarxien, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Richard and his wife Audrey, her beloved grandchildren Christine-Marie and Nicholas, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence on Monday, June 8 at 1.30pm for the Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Tal-Erwieħ Cemetery, Tarxien. VASSALLO. On June 3, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, EMANUEL, of Msida, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Grace, his sister Flower and her husband Francis, his in-laws Ġemma, Lina and her husband Joachim, his brother-in-law Joseph, his nephews and nieces Mary Anne and her husband Mario, Noel, Pierre, Anton and his wife Maria, their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre tomorrow at 2pm for Msida parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Balzan cemetery. Chinese medicine
A talk on ‘The philosophy behind Chinese medicine’ will be held tomorrow at 6.30pm at the Chinese Cultural Centre, Valletta.
Michael Micallef, a therapist who studied acupuncture in Shanghai, will deliver the talkwhich follows the recent agreement signed by the University of Shanghai of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and the University of Malta to hold a course leading to a Master’s degree on the subject. The event is organized by the Malta China Friendship Society.
