FARRUGIA. On June 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELO, of Żurrieq, husband of Josephine, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his great loss, his wife, Josephine, his daughters Pauline and her husband Lawrence, Marcette and her husband Gerald, Catherine and her husband Alfred, and Cecilia and her husband Joseph John, his grandchildren Edward and his wife Kimberly, Mario, Samuel, Melchior, Gabriel, Maria Lara, David, Daniel and Mariah, his sister Rosaria and her husband Carmelo Zammit, his brother-in-law Karmenu Zerafa and his wife Tessie, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for St Catherine parish church, Żurrieq, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at St Leone Cemetery, Żurrieq. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VASSALLO. On June 3, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, EMANUEL of Msida, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Grace, his sister Flower and her husband Francis, his in-laws Ġemma, Lina and her husband Joachim, his brother-in-law Joseph, his nephews and nieces Mary Anne and her husband Mario, Noel, Pierre, Anton and his wife Maria, their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre on Friday, June 5 at 2pm for Msida parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Balzan cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
