Martell Cognac celebrated its 300th anniversary during a glittering ceremony at Versailles Palace in France.

High-profile guests from more than 15 countries attended the evening, including Martell’s ambassador, the internationally acclaimed German actress and model Diane Kruger.

Other guests included Solange Knowles, Olivia Palermo, Naomie Harris and Antoine Firino Martell, a descendant of the cognac house’s founder Jean Martell, as well as Hong Kong actress and singer-songwriter Karen Mok.

After a private tour of the palace, guests experienced a fly-past over Versailles by the Patrouille de France and a preview of an experiential exhibition representing each stage of Martell’s cognac expertise.

After cocktails created especially for the event, all 300 guests took their seats to enjoy a gastronomic feat designed around Jean Martell’s original journey to Cognac, created exclusively for Martell by world-renowned, innovative French chef Paul Pairet.
