Thirteen businesses were named winners in the 2014/15 European Business Awards but the eight Maltese finalists walked away empty handed.

The eight Maltese finalists were: AppleCore Foods; AX Holdings; bit8; BMIT; CareMalta; Deco Manufacturing; ecoGozo; and Equiom.

EcoGozo had been voted ‘National Public Champion’ for Malta and BMIT Ltd won a Ruban D’Honneur.

This year’s competition attracted over 24,000 businesses and generated over 170,000 votes from the public. The 11 category winners were shortlisted from 709 national champions and 110 Ruban d’Honneur recipients.

Supported since their inception by lead sponsor and promoter RSM International, the European Business Awards is now in its ninth year. RSM Malta has been established locally for the past 10 years.
