Tourists drive from Mdina to Ħaġar Qim via San Niklaw, where huge trucks use the road and create big potholes that cannot be avoided.

I saw a tourist with a flat tyre in a ‘pond’ the other day after the heavy rains. The tourist got splashed with filthy rainwater by another passing truck.

The problem with the road is that part of it belongs to Qrendi, another part to Siġġiewi, and other parts probably don’t belong to anyone.

Authorities please take note as a lot of tourists frequent this area.
