Accommodation website Airbnb has set a fully-functioning floating house travelling up the river Thames. Weighing in at 70 tonnes, the home has two bedrooms, a living room, working bathroom and even a garden complete with real grass, a doghouse and an apple tree. The structure floated past London monuments, including the Houses of Parliament, as Airbnb celebrated new rules that allow people to share their homes with travellers for up to 90 days a year – although these could be under threat, see story on right.
