Uniforms for 120 student ambassadors representing colleges and universities in the US were created by Brooks Brothers, the US pavilion’s official sponsor at this year’s Milan Expo.
Each student will be wearing the brand’s button-down shirt and blue blazer. Completing their outfits, men will wear a special edition tie and women a silk scarf: items that also feature on the US pavilion’s flag.
The US pavilion’s theme, ‘American food 2.0: united to feed the planet’, encourages open dialogue and highlights innovation on topics like food security, sustainability and mobility.
“We feel strongly aligned with the Expo’s mission to showcase American innovators that strongly influence and shape our culture on a global scale,” said Brooks Brothers chairman and CEO Claudio Del Vecchio.
The US pavilion’s chief communication officer Jerry Giaquinta said they were honoured to have Brooks Brothers as a partner, as the brand was exemplary of American creativity and business innovation.
The Brooks Brothers outlet can be found in Republic Street, Valletta.
