A book called Neutrality as enshrined in the Maltese Constitution and its Relevance Today has been launched by Dom Communications.

The book was written by Ivan Grech Mintoff, the nephew of former prime minister Dom Mintoff, and is split into three parts.

Times have changed since Malta included the neutrality clause in the Constitution and several arguments have been put forward – including whether it should be removed.

The book gives a detailed analysis of the neutrality clause and explains why it should remain entrenched in the Constitution.
