The second Sarto Garden Runway at the Oriental Garden in Santa Luċija brought back memories of the 1930s Chinatown districts filled with nightclubs and entertainment.

The latest spring/summer 2015 collections from Blumarine, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani and Sergio Rossi from the Milan shows were carried across the catwalk by international and local models.

Geometric and linear patterns were manifested in a futuristic collection by Armani in a markedly urban collection.

In contrast Blumarine presented tailored, romantic gracefulness through Mikado silk, charmeuse and florals in the foreground.

Dolce & Gabbana started off with the Spanish influence on Sicily. The duo’s decadent collection was abundant in reds, the colour of bull fights and passion, sultry black lace and flouncing flamenco ruffles.

A Sergio Rossi exhibition of wearable art showcased craftsmanship in shoes, displaying a Matisse-inspired collection and Swarovski crystal embellished pieces.

A live cooking space teased the guests’ senses, carrying them on a gastronomic trip to the Orient.

In collaboration with Bottega Spumante, Johnny Walker, Acqua Panna, Acqua SanPellegrino, Zest, Screen, Lito’s Place, Be.Hotel, Sound Machine and U-Group, Sarto set the bar high once again.

The collections are available at the Sarto outlet in Ross Street, St Julian’s for a limited time. For more information, call 2202 1601.
