Real estate coach and international trainer Virginia Munden was the keynote speaker at the Re/Max two-day training seminar entitled ‘Grow with the ultimate challenge’, held at the Hilton, St Julian’s.

Malta was one of five European destinations selected to host this training seminar that was co-ordinated together with Re/Max Europe. The event attracted over 200 local Re/Max associates, 25 managers and franchise owners and a number of associates from other European countries.

The first day of the seminar was open to managers and franchise owners, and the second was attended by sales and letting associates.

Munden is a real estate coach and international speaker who started her real estate career at the age of 16 and has successfully managed a real estate business with her husband for over 25 years in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Since joining Re/Max, they both have been awarded the Chairman’s Club – the highest accolade in the Re/Max ranks – for five years consecutively.

Speaking at the inauguration of the seminar, Michael Polzler, chief executive officer of Re/Max Europe, said: “I am encouraged to see how successful Re/Max Malta has been with their exclusive listings. It is also nice to see how the local Re/Max agents cooperate among themselves so professionally.” He also congratulated the regional office and broker owners for the level of attendance at both events.

The objective of the seminar was to help managers and associates to become better entrepreneurs, leaders and role models within their own respective roles. Munden presented a framework that is based on applying consistent activities and reaching different milestones that are to be achieved over a period of 90 days. The programme, which has already been delivered in London, Portugal, Turkey and Italy, has seen a major success in productivity in the different regions.

Re/Max Malta managing director Kevin Buttigieg said: “The Ultimate Challenge is an ideal recipe for success and was based on several years of experience, which has assisted Virginia and her husband Wayne to become successful. We are honoured to be entrusted to host such a prestigious event in Malta and are proud that practically our whole team participated in this event.”

Since the event was presented over a full day, it was also served as a team-building exercise. The associates and managers had the opportunity to discuss strategy and ideas over lunch, coffee breaks and other networking opportunities.
