The New Victorians have just launched the new music video for their latest single Keep me in Love, taken from their upcoming debut album to be released later on this month.

The video was produced and directed by Malcolm Debono and features the band in three locations. The new single, which was released on radios a few days ago, has been very well received by fans and local and international DJs.

The journey of The New Victorians started in December 2011 at the International Alchemy Songwriting Competition, Arkansas, the US, where they were the youth division winners judged by a star industry panel consisting of American Idol Winner Kris Allen and Grammy Award-Winner David Hodges.

The album launch coincides with the band’s performance at Earth Garden festival

Following that success, doors were opened and the duo started to work towards releasing their own music with their mentor Howard Keith and Jagged House Management.

“We are thankful to have been part of this journey and we now feel comfortable to share our work. The feedback has been great so far. However, we are very aware it’s a tough road ahead,” the band said.

The New Victorians released their EP Dustpile last year, including their rendition of  Queen’s Somebody to Love, landing them a couple of prestigious performances with the National Orchestra and several big festivals. The band, which consists of five members, entered the studio to start recording their debut album two years ago.

The album launch will coincide with the band’s performance at the Earth Garden festival on June 5, where it will be performing the album for the first time joined by a few surprise guests.
