Collectors of art, literature and popular culture can start putting their minds at rest that their prized collections could find the ideal home once they are no longer around to care for them, thanks to the setting up of The Storm Petrel Foundation.

Its aim is to store and showcase the many hidden collections that family members may not be willing to keep. To do so, it is in the process of refurbishing an Attard property that would have a live-in curator and is designed in a museum-style manner, complete with a multimedia room and state-of-the-art technology, set in a classical environment.

Read more about the noble initiative of the foundation, the importance and value of these collections and the renovation project under way in the fourth issue of Places: Design & Living, out with The Sunday Times of Malta tomorrow.

It also showcases cutting-edge furniture design.

Places is a bi-monthly magazine, produced and published by Allied Newspapers Ltd and printed by Progress Press.
