Can anyone confirm if is it within the Maltese Highway Code that motorbikes are allowed to overtake moving cars from all sides, inside, middle as well as the outside lane?

The latter is the only legitimate way I know that one can overtake and that is after indicating that one is overtaking, rather than zooming past the traffic and making the car drivers jump.

I have seen enough positive safe driving campaigns in my lifetime, including the one that it is still used in the UK today: Think once, Think twice, Think BIKE.

I wonder what the law has to say about such matters. That part of the code which I read was not very clear.
