Denis Mifsud writes:
Vincent Tabone, affectionately called Ċensu by myriad friends, was a true gentleman.
His integrity and morals, which these days no longer exist in the modern dictionary, were beyond reproach. Added to these great assets, Ċensu was a professional in his travel trade career. His infinite patience, charisma and precision were a joy to experience when handling his numerous clients on tour.
I was looking forward to Ċensu leading us on another exciting trip later this year, to which he too was very positive about only a short time before his demise. But the Maker had other ideas and wanted Ċensu to be beside him.
Ċens, Marsalforn can never be the same without you. You were part of the fixtures, with a beer in your hand and always ready to offer one to anyone who passed by your parapet.
The Italian national football team and Juventus FC have lost a very fervent and loyal supporter.
My most sincere condolences to his beloved Sandra, his equally beloved children and grandchildren and his loving mother and siblings.
May you reap the good you did in this world in the eternal life of the next.
