I am writing this letter because I need some advice regarding my application for an ID card. I applied for one on November 11, 2014 and to this day have still not received it.

I have sent e-mails to the e-Residence unit and the customer care section at the Ministry for Home Affairs and I have also gone many times to the Department for Citizenship and Expatriate Affairs, yet I have never been given a clear answer.

I need an ID card to perform any type of transaction, either at the bank or at my embassy, to buy a house or a car, to apply for credit, to make an investment or to apply for a licence.

I just need to know who can help me solve my problem and whether I need to reapply for a new ID.
