In a phone call to De Paul University, broadcast over a local radio station, a top administration official of this university, in making short-shrift of the Labour Party innuendo that this Chicago institution was closely involved in the project touted by the Sadeen Education Investment on virgin land on Malta’s southern shores, said:

“De Paul University is involved only to the extent of providing a curriculum to something called the American University of Malta.”

‘Something called’? That’s anything but complimentary. What did this official mean? That this official had no idea what this project is about, except that it was willing to buy the American university’s curriculum?

Or that the official had a good idea of the project (and of those behind it) but not a good opinion of it?
