Chinese Ambassador Cai Jinbiao visited St Margaret College Boys’ Secondary School, Verdala, Cospicua, to see the science extracurricular projects being conducted in its Chinese science lab corner. The lab offers students the opportunity to link science study units with Chinese culture, inventions and technology and makes science practical and concrete.

Every year, the students perform various research studies about Chinese discoveries and inventions directed by science teacher Martin Azzopardi.

The topics selected for this year’s projects were the various types of Chinese tea and their healthy benefits, the inventions of the Chinese fan and paper-making in China.
