Kia Motors Europe achieved the highest first quarter sales in the company’s history, with year-to-date growth of 7.4 per cent, according to the latest data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA).

During the first three months of 2015, Kia posted sales of 96,092, the highest quarterly figure ever recorded by the Korean brand in Europe.

The Kia Sportage found 27,796 European buyers in Q1, representing growth of 18 per cent for the brand’s bestselling model. Kia’s first quarter growth was also driven by rising sales of the all-new Kia Soul, which recently went on sale across Europe, as well as the recently upgraded Venga.The cee’d remains the brand’s second bestselling model in Europe.

The Entertainer now offering its services in Malta

Middlesea Insurance changes name to Mapfre Middlesea

Middlesea Insurance is changing its corporate name to Mapfre Middlesea.

Global insurance group Mapfre has been Middlesea’s majority shareholder since 2011.

Melita offers best-value-for-money internet – Swiss poll

Swiss organisation Iceritias has certified Melita as the best-value- for-money provider for both fixed-line and mobile broadband internet services in Malta.

Customers responding to the survey confirmed that Melita offers Maltese consumers the best price-quality ratio for fixed-line broadband and mobile broadband internet services.

Iceritias (International Certification Association) measures consumers’ experience and satisfaction regarding the price-quality ratio of marketed products and services. The questions in the Best Buy Award research were open-ended and respondents were not offered a choice of responses.
