The Malta Financial Services Authority today issued warnings against two entities claiming to have an address in Valletta and purporting to be licensed by the MFSA.

It said that neither Bank Invest Capital Ltd nor GFS Securities Ltd, were registered in Malta or licenced by the MFSA to provide any type of financial service which required authorisation or licence in terms of law.

In a statement, the MFSA warned the public against entering into any transactions or otherwise with these entities.

It reminded consumers of financial services to exercise caution when entering into financial services transactions unless they ascertained that the entity with whom the transaction was being made was authorised to provide such services by the MFSA or another reputable financial services regulator.
