I disagree entirely with the Talking Point by Fr Richard-Nazzareno Farrugia (April 24) on the now infamous rainbow-coloured LGBTI crossings.

Whether the children were “led” or not I do not know; what I do know, however, is that children ought to be educated to regard LGBTI persons as human and normal as they themselves are and certainly not “intrinsically disordered” (evil) as an eminent cardinal once declared.

They are capable of love and, yes, expressing their love to one another as we all should do. As for Rosemarie Scicluna’s exhortation for the good father to “teach the Word of the Lord” I am sure that he, like many other clerics, are doing this in the proper fora and without bias against civil unions.
