I do understand that the government’s electoral programme is only midway in its implementation. But, really, does it need so long to refer the injustice inflicted on shareholders of the MM Property Fund to some form of arbitration, especially now that the perpetrator, Bank of Valletta, has just posted record profits?

Personally, I never owned any shares in the fund but did encourage others to invest when it was first launched, in the strong belief that BOV would never let clients down.

Sadly, it did. And so badly that the issue even found its way inside Labour’s last election manifesto.
