AUDIBERT – VINCENT (Vince), passed away at Queenston Place on Wednesday, April 29, aged 80. Beloved husband of 61 years to Nina, née Manza. Dearly loved father of John (Julia) and Fred (Betty). Cherished nannu of Natalie, Amy, Vincent Michael, Stephanie, Angela and JP. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Mary and his sister Maggie. He will be sadly missed in Malta by his many relatives and friends, especially his niece Marlene Licari and family. Vince was a proud owner of Audibert’s Menswear and taught retail management at Niagara College for 28 years. He was actively involved in the Niagara Falls community which he loved so much and served with distinction with many community agencies; Past-President of the Niagara Falls Jaycees and the Kiwanis Club, Director and V.P of St. John Ambulance and chairman of their Water Patrol committee, and many years on the Parks and Rec commission for the city. He was presented with the Mel Osborne award which is the highest Canadian recognition given by the Kiwanis Club for outstanding service to one's community. Vince was a great Valletta FC supporter and a devoted St Dominic patron. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated on Saturday, May 9 at 6.15pm at Our Lady of Porto Salvo (St Dominic’s) parish church, Valletta. MARTINELLI. On May 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, INES of Luqa, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her children Mario and his wife Joan, Dr Lino Martinelli, LLD, and his wife Josephine, Dr Marcel Martinelli, MD, and his wife Marthese, and Dr Lucienne Portelli, MD, and her husband Dr Alex Portelli, MD, her sister Melita Cassar, her grandchildren Maria, Matteo, Nadia, Julian, Daniel, Elena, Marcus and Andrea, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for St Andrew’s parish church, Luqa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SCICLUNA. On May 6, at St Vincent de Paul residence, COSTANTINO, aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by his loving family and the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rita, his daughter May and her husband David, his son Joe, his grandchildren Nicky, Liam, Sarah and Neil, his brother Emy and his wife Anna, his sister Antoinette and her husband Charles, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow at 7.45am for Mosta parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. ZAMMIT. On May 4, at Casa Arkati, Mosta, MARIA, née Cefai of Sliema, wife of Louis, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Louis, her children Johanna and her partner Sasa, Angela and Joe, Jean and Nadia, her grandchildren Chiara and Davide, Krista and Adam, Giulia and Clint, Luca and Nina, and her great-granddaughter Mila. She also leaves to mourn her loss her twin sister Louise, her brother John and his wife Barbara, her in-laws Yvonne and Joe Micallef Stafrace, Stanley and Emily, Alfred, Charles and Maxine, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
