AUDIBERT – VINCENT (Vince), passed away at Queenston Place on Wednesday, April 29, aged 80. Beloved husband of 61 years to Nina, née Manza. Dearly loved father of John (Julia) and Fred (Betty). Cherished nannu of Natalie, Amy, Vincent Michael, Stephanie, Angela and JP. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Mary and his sister Maggie. He will be sadly missed in Malta by his many relatives and friends, especially his niece Marlene Licari and family. Vince was a proud owner of Audibert’s Menswear and taught retail management at Niagara College for 28 years. He was actively involved in the Niagara Falls community which he loved so much and served with distinction with many community agencies; Past-President of the Niagara Falls Jaycees and the Kiwanis Club, Director and V.P of St. John Ambulance and chairman of their Water Patrol committee, and many years on the Parks and Rec commission for the city. He was presented with the Mel Osborne award which is the highest Canadian recognition given by the Kiwanis Club for outstanding service to one's community. Vince was a great Valletta FC supporter and a devoted St Dominic patron. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated on Saturday, May 9 at 6.15pm at Our Lady of Porto Salvo (St Dominic’s) parish church, Valletta. BARTOLO. On May 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, née Bonnici, aged 95, passed away peacefully, comforted by her loving family and the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Lino, her sons Noel and his wife Maryrose, Kenneth and his wife Frances, and Daniel and his wife Doreen, her grandchildren Maria-Chiara and her boyfriend Neville, Andrew, Keith and his fiancée Kyra, Neal and his wife Daphne, Francesco and his fiancée Leanne, Samwel and Tamara. WILHELMS. On February 20, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, ISOLDE, aged 93, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her many friends in Malta and abroad. She will be buried at the Horner Friedhof in Bremen, Germany, today at noon. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be said today at 6pm at St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex.

ZAMMIT. On May 4, at Casa Arkati, MARIA, nèe Cefai, of Sliema, wife of Louis, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Louis, her children Johanna and her partner Sasa, Angela and Joe, Jean and Nadia, her grandchildren Chiara and Davide, Krista and Adam, Giulia and Clint, Luca and Nina, and her great-granddaughter Mila. Fatima jumble sale

A jumble sale to raise funds for Fatima Santuary in Guardamangia is on at Fatima parish centre in St Monica Street, in the locality.

The sale opened on Friday and will remain open until May 17.

The opening hours are from 9.30am to noon and 3.30 to 7pm daily.
